FIREARMS LICENSING REQUIREMENTS IN POLAND

Travelling to Poland with firearms is regulated in the Weapons and Ammunition Law, in particular articles no.34 and 41.

Issue of a certificate from the appropriate Polish consulate 

Article 34 – The transportation of weapons and ammunitions across the territory of the Republic of Poland may take place on the basis of a certificate issued by the appropriate consulate of the Republic of Poland.

 

Non-EU citizens 

Article 41 – The importation of firearms and ammunitions from abroad and their exportation by non-EU citizens requires the prior issue of a certificate by the appropriate consul of the Republic of Poland. The certificate replaces the weapon permit for a period of up to 30 days from the date importation of weapons and ammunitions.
