This high-level dialogue focuses on shaping the next steps for the Birds Directive by evaluating the implementation of EU environmental policies and nature restoration initiatives. Experts and policymakers will explore how sustainable hunting and grassroots conservation contribute to Europe’s biodiversity goals, highlighting the vital link between evidence-based science and policy development. The session aims to identify effective strategies for the conservation of migratory birds and habitat improvement through sustainable use practices and community-based actions.
This event is co-organised by the European Federation for Hunting and Conservation (FACE).
