28 Apr 2026 EU Green Week 2026: Investing in a nature-positive economy
This June, the 26th edition of EU Green Week will spotlight the business case for nature, demonstrating how a nature-positive economy can support Europe’s prosperity, resilience and competitiveness.
Organised by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Environment (DG ENV), the high-level conference in Brussels on 3 to 4 June features a dynamic programme of panel discussions, TED-style talks, cinema nights and a dedicated start-up and investor matchmaking event. The discussions will explore how nature-positive models work in practice, with a focus on profitable farming, soil health, greener cities and innovative financing to address rural depopulation.
EU Green Week 2026 brings together policymakers, investors, farmers and civil society at a moment when the EU is increasingly focused on delivering biodiversity objectives alongside economic and social priorities. For FACE and its Members, this is a relevant platform to engage on how investment in nature can support practical conservation delivery, thriving rural communities and sustainable land use.
