There are 7 million hunters in Europe, which make an important contribution to nature, society and the economy. Europe’s hunters should be regarded as key partners in delivering the EU’s policy agenda. However, according to FACE, their potential is not being fully recognised by the EU institutions. That’s why the European Hunters’ Campaign was initiated, which has already gathered over 150,000 signatures.
At this Press Conference, top representatives from the major European hunting associations will come forward to exchange experience in the field and broad perspectives on:
- the essential role of hunters to nature, society, and economy
- how best to promote an open dialogue with decision-makers
- the need for a stronger partnership
