During the March plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg, MEP Mantovani (Italy, ECR) invited FACE to give a presentation to a visiting group of hunters from Lombardy. The presentation outlined FACE’s advocacy work in Brussels, carried out in close cooperation with its Members, including FACE Italy, to promote hunters’ interests at the European level. Andre Gresser, FACE’s Public Affairs Officer, provided a range of updates on the current and future files affecting hunters in Europe.

The meeting offered participants a valuable opportunity to better understand how EU policymaking affects hunting, wildlife management and conservation. It also underlined the importance of ensuring that hunters’ voices are represented in discussions and decision-making at EU level.
