From January 27 to February 1, JAGD & HUND brings together the international hunting industry in Dortmund. International manufacturers use the early date to present their new products to a wide audience. Hunting experts, associations, and representatives from politics come together to discuss current challenges and developments. This combination makes JAGD & HUND a unique platform.

For six days, the exhibition halls transform into an international meeting place for hunters, hunting and outdoor enthusiasts, dog and nature lovers. More than 700 exhibitors cover the entire spectrum of modern hunting and outdoor equipment. Special thematic areas such as the KNIFE ZONE offer additional guidance for visitors. All this is complemented by a wide-ranging supporting program.

This includes highlights such as the breed presentations by the Hunting Dog Association, but also unique competitions such as the “European Hunting Photo of the Year 2025”, which Messe Dortmund and FACE are organizing together. The trade fair program also features numerous informative offerings. These include lectures on current hunting challenges, demonstrations on game processing, and the “JAGD & HUND Masterclasses powered by Geartester Academy” (in German).

The culinary centerpiece of JAGD & HUND is the WILD FOOD FESTIVAL. Where hobby-chefs will find a range of exhibitors offering everything to do with wild cuisine and inspiring Live-Cookings.

Additionally, a new service is available to exhibitors: at the B2B Lounge, they have the opportunity to hold confidential meetings with business partners. With all these offerings, JAGD & HUND has established itself as a central platform for knowledge transfer, professional exchange, and international networking.
