FACE President, Laurens Hoedemaker, visited Browning’s headquarters in Herstal, Belgium, for a meeting with Chief Executive Officer, Marie-Pierre Dechêne. “Direct dialogue with key partners such as Browning is essential to ensure that European policy reflects the reality on the ground” stated President Hoedemaker. Browning is a longstanding FACE Patron and remains a key player within Europe’s hunting community.

Browning is also an active member of ESFAM, which brings together several leading European manufacturers of hunting and sport shooting firearms. Discussions focused in particular on the state of play of Europe’s hunting sector and the recent high-level debate on EU Firearms Policy in Brussels.

The meeting underlined the importance of dialogue and coordination between FACE and the wider sector to present coherent positions and contribute to balanced Brussels policy-making.
