FACE published the Best Practice Guidelines for Trapping of Mammals in Europe

Best Practice Guidelines covering Castor fiber  is the fifth and last in the series of Guidelines that FACE developed in cooperation with different organisation and FACE Members. Other Guidelines cover also Nyctereutes procyonoides, Ondatra zibethicus, Vulpes vulpes, Martes martes.

Best Practice Guidelines give overview of legislation, preventive health and security measures, information about species, and focuses on types of traps to use and how to correctly set them to ensure selectivity and welfare of trapped animals.
