FACE Annual Report 2009/2010
It is one of the most important
publication in which FACE can discharge its accountability
to its Member Associations. It is a key resource for summarising
our activities and financial review of our operations, providing
them with a good measure of our progress. It is also a good
means of creating greater public trust and confidence by
decision-makers, potential business partners and other interested
parties in the work of FACE. |

- Taking Stock and Moving Forward
In order to contribute to the debate on Biodiversity and the post 2010 targets we present here eight core themes, where we as hunters feel that we are making a contribution and where more can be done together. These topics are interlinked and are certainly not exhaustive, there is always more both in that we are doing and that needs to be done. |

Hunters are a highly motivated and important ally for biodiversity. To its benefit, they spend vast amounts of voluntary hours in the field, cover a vast surface of the European landscape and invest vast amounts of money.

NATURA
2000 Handbook
FACE has
prepared this handbook for all users, in particular hunters
on national level, in order to provide a quick reference
guide containing concrete answers.
The aim of this publication is to demystify NATURA 2000
by reaffirming that the aim of Natura 2000 is not to ban
hunting but to protect habitats and biodiversity. This objective
is shared by all hunters. Concrete examples are used to
illustrate that local stakeholders have been able to adapt
their habits and use NATURA 2000 to unite and develop a
common territorial management project.

its 25th anniversary and as a means of marking this achievement,
published an commemorative book with contributions from
its "founding fathers", proceedings of the Anniversary-Colloquium
